It contains information about it's films, of which newcomer "Pierhaven" and hits like "Verband" and "Plee" of previous years!
 
WP works on an oldfashioned animation film
As part of Wolbodo's lustrum-activities Wolbodo Pictures has shot many scenes of hand-made marionettes.
These scenes were later put together to create a real story-line.
Unfortunately due to lack of time, the film wasn't finished before the deadline of the filmfestival in filmhouse Lumen.
A filmtrailer in the making
At this moment Wolbodo Pictures is working on a new produktion. It's a filmtrailer of a could-be film called 'Lost track'.
This new team of young filmmakers still has one week to finish it's work. Due to circumstances the last scene will be taken one day before delivery time.
They realy take it to the limit. Friday 29 june, the trailer will hopefully participate in the filmfestival 'Fifteen minutes of Fame'.
Wolpop festival shows several WP-films
The organisation of Wolpop 2006 has chosen several of the Wolbodo Pictures films, like 'Verband' and 'Pierhaven', to be shown in it's own cinema.
Where as Wolpop is a cultural festival it has music, dance, theatre and films on it's program. The films have partly been chosen for its experimental value.
WP's lustral feast contains many price-winners
As Wolbodo Pictures celebrated it's revival five years ago, many people were rewarded for their achievements.
Two sorts of prices were to be given; Wikkerts and Wikkelina's. The first were prices for wich a jury was elected.
The second price was given by the organisation itself, for al kinds of reasons.
These are the results of the Wikkert-price judgement:
- the best film: Verband;
- the best foreign film: Das Kuhnperiment (Koen Wijfelaars en Koen Rotteveel);
- the best actress: Hilde (Verband);
- the best actor: Rob (Pierhaven)
- the best supporting actress: the DS Citroën (Plee);
- the best supporting actor: Roel & Willem (Pierhaven);
- the best film (by the public): Verband.
